For Nikki Goodeliunas styling hair has always been a passion. She first began her journey with styling hair when she was just a child, cutting her own hair every opportunity she got and experimenting with different hair styles on her younger sister. As she grew older and became more experienced Nikki started to do freelance work for special events such as proms, weddings and industy work including film, commercial and print.
While attending Cal State University Northridge for Business, Nikki faced a life changing event and was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2010. After a year of intense chemotherapy she decided to change her life and pursue her dream of becoming a hair stylist. “This is what a cancer survivor looks like,” Nikki metioned when asked about her life now. She then attended The Academy for Salon Professionals and graduated and received her license in 2012. Also, while attending cosmetology school Nikki wanted to further her education and took an advanced make-up class where she learned special techniques such as fantasy, runway, and bridal.
Nikki has also had the opportunity to work with fabulous fashion designers at LA Style’s fashion week for Spring and Fall of 2011/2012/2013. Nikki also became a part of the American Board of Certifided Hair Colorist in the fall of 2013 and is looking forward to many opportunities to come.
