Brown and Blonde had a baby and named it Brond.
Brond is a combo of medium blond and brown that is unique to every individual that sports it. Depending on your base color and highlights, you could be a little brond or a lotta brond. It’s softer with easier upkeep and with most skin tones it looks natural. It is much more customizable and easier to work with that barbie blonde and certainly gives you a little more time in between getting your roots done.
As far as celebs go, Jennifer Aniston, Lauren Conrad, and Jennifer Lopez all rock their Brond hair proudly. Below is a picture of Hilary Duff with shades of Brond.

Confession: Everyday Can Be A Good Hair Day
Who are you? Who does your hair say you are?
Are you a Rocker? Business type? Fashionista? Hippie? Stuck in the eighties?
Maybe you don’t care what you look like. No matter who you are, there is some aspect of your hair you love and want to play up or change or even fix. We don’t have control over genetics, but we do have control over our hair.
With over 100,000 hairs on your head, it’s hard for a girl to make everyday a good hair day, that’s a lot of teamwork! On top of that, everyone’s hair is different because of genetics, environment, stress, humidity, products (don’t get me started on that subject) and lack of hair-care knowledge.
It wasn’t always this way. Once upon a time, hair was for protection and warmth but as helmets and hats were introduced, hair got it’s own makeover. Hair has been redefined to be a direct reflection of how we feel and who we are. We all have had bad hair days that seem to ruin our entire day. On the other hand, we all have a good hair day that makes everything a little more exciting than it is. We begin to see that silver lining in the storm of bad hair days. The Challenge: How do you beat genetics and make everyday a good hairday?
First Step: Acceptance. Find something you can like about your hair and focus on that. What do you like? Is it your bouncy curls? Texture? Color?
Second Step: Get help. DO ask your stylist to help you solve the problems that you may be experiencing and GET YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED. Don’t leave with a ‘sort-of’ answer. Leave the gossip aside and get down to business.
This relationship goes both ways and if you don’t tell your stylist your concerns, they can’t help you. If you do tell them and are not getting the help you need, please let them know and if still no satisfaction, it’s time to move on.
Third Step: Maintenance! Protect your investment by using the right products and taking the time to give you hair the attention it needs. Follow your stylists advice: whether it is a deep conditioner every week or a haircut every six.

Confession: RGB Nail Polish Changed My Life.
I am done. Finally. The hunt for my dream nail polish is over. I have discovered a line like no other. The line is made up of strong, iconic, classic colors hot off the runway. These hues can’t be missed, and are necessary for every wardrobe.
And even better, RGB’s fall colors for 2010 are out, and I have already bought all three: Mink, Camel, and Plum. Welcome to my collection my little bottles of gold.
Camel: The best camel color I have seen yet. It is true to tone, not too yellow and not too dark. Seriously opaque.
Mink: Is a sheer taupe color, a conservative favorite with a tad bit of twist.
Plum: A violent dark purple. It seriously looks like someone just smashed a plum and bottled it.
My favorite is still Slate. It’s deep charcoal color with a little bit of shimmer reminds me of a black sand beach. But I am still planning on rockin’ all the fall colors. Between the packaging, absence of harmless chemicals, and easy application brush-size you can’t go wrong.

Confession: Rinse.Lather.Repeat.
Five steps to clean hair.
There is nothing like getting your hair washed by a professional. Is it the shampoo? The hands? The water? Wrong. It is the technique. Yes, there is a technique to washing your hair.
1.) RINSE. Wet your hair. COMPLETELY. This may sounds like a no brainer but it is rarely done correctly. Your hair needs to be wet from scalp to ends. Surprisingly the scalp is actually what you want to wash the most because it creates the most oil.
2.) LATHER. Time to add the shampoo. Shampoo has ingredients that break down oils, so even if you are not getting a ton of lather, do not fear! The shampoo is doing it’s job even if you can’t see it. You should only be using a quarter size of shampoo squirted into your hand. Rub it around a little bit and then apply it to your scalp, rub it around, rinse.
3.) REPEAT. Do the process again. This time you should get a little more lather. Shampoo your ends this time around and rinse. Your hair should be squeaky clean now.
For frequent shampoo-ers, we recommend Bumble and Bumble’s seaweed shampoo. It is very mild and safe for color treated hair.
Confession: Mascara
Those of you who know me are well aware of my ongoing quest to find the ultimate mascara. Yes, it may sound trivial to those who do not understand the importance of such an endeavor. But the right mascara can completely transform your look. Use the wrong one, and you could end up looking like Tammy Faye…not Twiggy.
Despite the madness at the local malls, I braved my way to the Sherman Oaks Fashion Square in pursuit of my quest. I was surrounded by those partially hysterical after-the-holidays shoppers, running from store to store to redeem their newly acquired gift cards. Yes, you can imagine it, I’m sure.
After swooping up many mascaras from the various make-up meccas, I trotted home to try out my treasures. To my utter joy, I was able to experiment with a new one every day for over a week. There were some bad days, and some good days, but after these highs and lows I picked the best of the pack. These are just my opinions, mind you, and there’s nothing scientific about my testing methods. It’s just what I like and what works best for me. That said…
For days when I’m in a terrible hurry, Lancome’s Flextencils is ideal. It curls, thickens and lengthens all at once. No need for an eyelash curler–just a few swoops and I’m done. Brilliant.
When I want lashes that stop traffic, I go for DiorShow by Dior. They give me super-thick, lush lashes that are still soft and plush. If you add one of those mascara base coats the results are even bigger and badder. Caution: use only if you want to knock ‘em dead.
Some of us gals need a bargain. In that case go for Covergirls Lash Blast. You can’t miss it, it’s in a big fat orange tube. For a mere 7 dollars, you can have Dior quality lush lashes at a fraction of the cost. Shhhh, I’ll never tell that you didn’t spend over $20!
And when I’m going to be seeing a sad movie, I go for Precise Volume Waterproof Mascara by Shu Uemura. I can watch Ilsa and Rick at the end of Casablanca and not worry about ending up looking like a drowned raccoon. Yeah, that scene always gets me.
